Physie is a dancesport for girls and ladies from 3 years of age. It is a fusion of jazz, ballet, aerobic dance, floor exercises, contemporary and hip hop. The choreography changes annually and the music is always great!
Classes aim to build confidence, poise, good posture, strength, fitness and flexibility. The choreography is designed to teach the relationship of music to movement, rhythm, co-ordination, balance and musical interpretation. Most importantly, it’s a lot of fun!
All girls and ladies have the opportunity to be involved in non-compulsory performances and individual and team competitions up to National level.
Mosman Physie is a not-for-profit family friendly Community Club. Our National body, the Bjelke Petersen School of Physical Culture, has a long and proud history in Australia and in 2017 is celebrating 125 Years of physical culture!
